Cypress On 17 Mile Drive

This is a new painting that will go to auction on May 31.  Its a scene of late afternoon on 17 Mile Dr in Pebble Beach.

I wanted to show how it looks with a mat and frame.  However, the auction is for the painting only at this time.

This is the next painting that is going to auction tomorrow, May 24, 2015.  Am still getting this blog set up, with links etc. but it is coming along.  Happy Memorial Day weekend!

Have a new painting for an auction over at Daily Paintworks, one of my favorites because of its tonalism and mood.

This is an oil on board 10 x 12 inches and is a scene from down the coast of Big Sur.  For more auction info click here.  http://www.dailypaintworks.com/buy/auction/392792

New Site For Paintings

Hello and welcome to my new blog.  I have recently uploaded some of my paintings to a new site, Daily Paint Works, a great place to show and sell your work with emphasis on creating one small painting a day.  This intrigued me, and I wanted to join the other artists listed on that site.  Some of the artists I have come across on that site are wonderful and it's really neat to be part of that group.

This painting was recently completed and is a scene from Point Lobos State Park.  It is oil on linen, 12 x 12.  Click on the link below for more info.
